This year the food festival is called “Sourced from the Sea” Porthleven is only 15 mins away from us and this festival is something most definitely worth looking at if you have any interest in food whatsoever! Lots of demonstrations by people like Anthony Worrell Thompson and Jack Stein to name just a couple. Looking at their site the art and Youth festival pages are yet to be added to so there is even more to come.

Lots of goodies to try, why not buy some, come back to the cottage and cook up a treat I can’t think of a better way to spend a day. Not only is there lots of lovely food, there will be loads of live music too. So pop on by Ruby Farmhouse Holiday Cottages, take a look and arrange something special.

Added to the fact that the food festival will be great fun, Spring will have sprung and there will be lots of Spring flowers out all over Cornwall and the Gardens we have in Cornwall will be at their best. So is it not time to organise that long earned break? We don’t normally changeover on a Friday but Easter will be over so I’m sure a short break from, say Thursday or Friday to Sunday or Monday can be arranged and if there’s a chill still in the air, do not fear our cottages are heated!
